Tilden engineers and geologists are presenting an interdisciplinary study titled "Optimizing Perforating Schemes to Achieve Uniform Proppant Distribution" at the annual Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) in Denver, CO.
The study highlights the team's work generating a cost-neutral method to improve well stimulation effectiveness.
Beginning with completion operations on their five Marcellus drilled and uncompleted wells (DUC's), followed by two Marcellus development wells, and a Utica test located in western Tioga County, PA.
"The completion of these wells will be an immediate uplift for both production and cash flow to the company," said Sean Wainwright, VP of Operations at Tilden Marcellus, LLC.
Tilden Marcellus, LLC announces that it is currently working with Apex Petroleum Engineering to optimize well spacing and completion methodology in the Marcellus formation.
Tilden Marcellus expects to advance a completion design and development plan that will outperform current new well predictions as well as the Marshlands area historic production trends.
